GETTING STARTED
1. click on the SCHEDULE link above and create an online account with us including your email. You may schedule your class but you do not have to!
2. Arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start time of the class to complete your paperwork and settle onto your mat.
3. Don't forget to bring a yoga mat, large towel, small hand towel and water to class.
4. Leave your valuables at home or in your car. We do have cubbies for your personal belongings but we are not responsible for them.
5. Come to class on an empty stomach.
6. Know that all classes are for all levels. We teach to the highest level and modify down to the very basics. You start where you are....

YOGA CLASSES
ShriKula offers a variety of different styles of Yoga, with the majority of our classes being being our HOT POWER classes taught in hot room of 100 degrees.
Other classes offered are:
SHRI BLISSBliss yoga classes are a slower paced class done in a warm room (80degrees) and include  HIPS & SHOULDERS, YIN-ward YOGA, TWISTED BLISS, CHILLS'VILLE and CANDLE LIGHT yoga. 

YOGA SOUP: an anything goes type of class. It's the instructor's choice as to what they will teach. It will be different each time but know you will get exactly what you need.

WALL YOGA: Incorporating the Great Yoga Walls as the main focus of the practice, we offer two types of classes on the wall - a Yin style theraputics class and the Power Wall class which is an invigorating and strength building class which is sure to get your breath flowing and your heart beating. 

FIRST TIME YOGIS  We welcome all students to join us in any class we offer. The foundation of yoga is about breath; the asanas (poses) are the portal that gets you to that blissful state. Wherever you are in your practice - whether it's your first class or 500th class. Come with an open mind and let go of expectations - accept who you are today and come practice with us. It's that simple!

Each month ShriKula Yoga offers workshops and social events bringing our yoga community closer together. We are also committed to giving back to our community with service work and free yoga programs. SHRIKULA YOGA houses two yoga rooms within the yoga studio: 

  • the SHAKTI studio is heated to 100 degrees for most classes and can hold 60 mats comfortably. 
  • the SHANTI studio is home to The Great Wall of Yoga. This studio is kept around 80 degress to help muscles and joints soften and the body relax. 

AMENITIES
  • Over 25 classes weekly in the morning, mid-day, evenings and weekends for students of all levels. We do not level our classes as we approach yoga with a beginners mind and free of expectations. Students are encouraged to work at  their own level.
  • Free use of studio props, blocks, straps and blankets needed for class.
  • Men's and Women's dressing rooms and bathrooms
  • Micro-filtered water system to refill your water bottles.
  • Community Tea Bar is available to our patrons at no cost
  • Kula Lounge: check out the latest issue of Yoga Journal, enjoy one of our books to read, or just kick your feet up and relax.
  • Stretch out on our BackBender Bench to release stress in your back and neck
  • Retail Store - Manduka, Dude Girl, Buddhalicious, JaiDye, GirlSkirt Mission, Scent of Samadhi, Sombra, Body Oils, Gifts, Books, and more!
  • Cooled bottled water, coconut water and assorted healthy drinks for $2ea
  • Outdoor sitting area
  • Free and convenient parking

RENTAL MATS AND TOWELS
During your introductory 10 for $20 package, you are able to borrow a yoga mat at no charge. Following your Intro Package, mats and towels are available for rent for a charge of $2 each. We recommend you bring your own mat,  large towel and hand towel, and water each time you take class.

SUGGESTIONS FOR FIRST TIME VISITORS
  • Wear comfortable clothing - less is better, nothing too baggy
  • No perfume or jewelry please
  • We are a cell phone free studio, so please turn off your phone upon arrival
  • Arrive on an empty stomach. Wait 3 hours after a large meal, 1.5 after a light meal. Food in your stomach makes practice harder!
  • Drink, drink, drink water all day and the day before! Do not wait until 30 minutes before class to get hydrated
  • Bring a bottle of water to class.
  • Studio doors typically open 10-15 minutes prior to the start of class. Please seek out your teacher if this is your first time in the studio!
  • Once you arrive, fill out a registration form, sign in and pay for your class.
  • Bring a mat, large towel and small hand towel (and water) to class each time you come. If you do not have a mat, you may borrow or demo one from us at no charge during your Intro Package. We do encourage you to purchase a mat within the first few weeks of your practice.         
  • We accept cash, checks and Visa / Mastercard for your convenience.
